Tara Coots, the last person to testify at her reckless homicide trial Wednesday morning, was found innocent by a jury about three hours later. The Porter Superior Court jury of nine women deliberated about 90 minutes before acquitting her of the felony charge that carries a two-to-eight-year sentence.Defense attorney Larry Rogers said Porter County police did a poor job of investigating the crash, leaving reasonable doubt.
